Real World Studios is a state-of-the-art residential recording studio in the West of England built by Peter Gabriel in the late 1980s. It is one of the most high-tech facilities in the world and the birthplace of numerous landmark albums. Oli started working at Real World Studios in 2014, moving up to become the head engineer in 2018. He went freelance in the first half of 2022, but stays connected to Real World as a consulting engineer and continues to support the team.
Oli has his own mixing space in Bath, UK. It is a large, comfortable and acoustically-treated studio with an amazing view. It’s based around a UAD Apollo Pro Tools native system, ATC SCM25a/Tannoy monitoring. There is a selection of outboard, microphones, keyboards, guitars and amps.
